Pedigree For Beyond His Years

Beyond His Years
15.3H
Thoroughbred
1990-2006

Cas won nearly $87,000 in his racing career.  He had an amazingly kind and gentle temperment and his movement was floaty with great extension; perfect for Dressage.  Cas was a race horse in his youth and a pleasure horse here, in retirement.

Summer of 2006, Cas was euthanized after he went down in a field while enjoying an evening ride.  His front fetlocks had gone out, leaving his canon bones bearing his weight.  As an attempt at recovery would have been long and painful with no certain healing at the end, we thought it kinder to end his suffering.  Having already been a rescue horse, we thought it too much to ask him to suffer more just so we could enjoy his presence and beauty.  We are blessed to own his last born foal, Spot Me Some Color, and we feel honored to be able to make Cas's son part of our family.  We will miss you Cas! You were my dream horse!

Deceased

Etch To Impress had a ROM in halter and was a Reserve National Champion as well as a Champion Producer.  His foals have earned 122.5 performance points, 361.5 halter points, 15 ROMs, and 1 ApHc Champion award (as of time info was found).  His son Etch For Success has over 40 points in halter and 11 color points.

I have been impressed by the consistency in which his offspring are big, colorful, and showy.  They stand out in a crowd and are affectionate companions.  I am blessed to own a grandson of this famous Stallion in the form of Spot Me Some Color.
