Spot Me Some Color (Pending)
ApHC
2007
16+ H (projected mature height)
CEA Points:
Halter- 21 pts (pending with show secretary)

This little man has it all; conformation, temperment, AND bloodlines!

Bloodlines:  His mama is Etch To Perfection, daughter of Etch To Impress.  She goes back to Etchings, Top Vantage, Impressive (she is HYPP N/N; she does NOT carry ANY possibility of passing on the disease), Sir Quincy Dan, Good, Lucky Bar, Rocket Vandy, and Diamond Charge on her sire's side.  On her dam's side she has Roman Jet son of Hayes Roman Cloud, Harlan, Sir Plaudi, Red Plaudit, and Peavy Bimbo.  Tons of ApHC points and Hall of Fame horses from Mama.  On his daddy's side, Spot Me Some Color has famous racing Thoroughbred lines.  His sire, Beyond His Years, was a son of Wise Times.  Wise Times' sire was Mr Leader by Hail To Reason by Turn To by Royal Charger; a string of big time racers.  On his dam's side Wise Times had Shut Out, Equipoise, and Eight Thirty.  Beyond His Years' dam went back to Prince John by Princequillo, Ferd, Questionnaire, and Count Fleet.

Conformation:  Pictures will be added as this little man grows up.  Already, he is as muscled and tall as a horse twice his age.  We expect to do either Halter or Sports Horse with this fellow, depending on which parent he ends up taking after.  He has a huge hip and rear end, slopey shoulder, and pleasing lines.  He jumps branches in his paddock just for fun!  He should be an athletic show horse some day.

Temperment:  Now in training to begin showing this fall in weanling classes, Spot Me Some Color is learning to lead and lunge very quickly.  He transfers lessons from right side to left side quickly, has a long attention span, and retains his sessions well.  I chose to breed his parents just for this personality; sweet, smart, and trainable.  I can't wait to get him in the show ring!
